So started using temp control coils in my original Freemax starre tank. I noticed in the first coil the cotton turned a light brown so I swapped out to s new coil. Today I looked and same thing. I'm not using these coils at very high wattage or temp limit. I'm currently at 33 watts and 480 degrees. Is this normal with temp coils? Thanks

Are you priming them first ? Also could just be the juice your using. As long as your not getting any burnt taste it's probably ok

Always prime and let sit and no burn taste just thought it was rather odd thanks

I just looked at my nickel temp control coil. It's brown tastes fine though. So it's probably normal.
