How many degrees are you Vaping? When I went over about 440, I started getting burned hits. This is a problem for me because I like the vape at 500.

Hmm kay ... confusion. Why would you like vaping at 500F if you're getting burnt hits?

I'm guessing that you like the warmer inhale, but your mod is burning cotton anytime you are vaping over 440F. It suggests that your wick is not keeping up with your build. Wet cotton doesn't burn. Work on your wicking.

Temperature control will burn cotton when you have it set to limit the coil to a temperature that is above Cotton's singe point.

I don't get burned hits until the wick runs out of juice. What I'm asking is if temp control is still going to give me burned hits at the temp I like the vape, why would I use it. Why not just stay with kanthal? The only reason I can see to use temp control is if I want to vape below 440.

I'm vaping at 560 F (580 F is uncomfortably warm) right now. My mod starts the throttle back process in plenty of time to keep me from enjoying that good ole burnt cotton flavor. I know temp limit is kicking in 'cause the device throttles back and I wonder what happened to my flavor.

Do your not get burnt hits at 560?

No. The mod throttles back an I respond to the weaker hit. If I kept sucking on it ... sure, I'd burn the cotton wicking. But, I don't and resupply the juice.
