Introduction
The Falcons by Teslacigs is available in 3 different kit forms, paired with the Resin sub-ohm tank, paired with the disposable One Tank and this version i am having a look at paired with the Pod One which is a Pod Tank Hybrid. The Falcons mod is a lightweight simple direct output device with built-in 2000mAh battery and the Pod One has an installed 1.2ohm coil and gives an authentic MTL draw, very similar to taking a draw from a cigarette!

Aesthetics and Ergonomics
The Falcons Pod One Kit came in Teslacig's new style cardboard packaging with sleeve which has cutouts. On opening the packaging in the top tray we had a colourful Falcons mod, pod and atomizer base as a complete unit and a spare pod section. I received the Orange Green version which is Orange at the top, Green at the bottom and around the middle both colours fused together, the included pods are Orange. The other versions are Blue Red, Purple Yellow, Black, Red, and White, the Black, Red and White versions are speckled and all come with pods that match. The device itself is plastic with rubber coating and extremely lightweight, they are the same material and finish as the popular WYE so if you like the look and feel of the WYE then you will like the Falcons both aesthetically and feel in the hand. The device is quite small almost like a very short pen style just boxed out a bit to give it a box mod look. Top, bottom and front of the device is Black (sides and spine are colour of choice), on the base we have safety stamps cut into the finish and venting. The front of the device has a shield shape fire button at the top which has raised logo and rim, at the bottom is the micro USB port then between the fire button and the USB port we have a long vertical LED strip. On both sides of the deice we have raised plaques, one has "FALCONS" cut into it, the other "TESLACIGS", moving to the spine we have some textured design for grip. Up top we have a slightly raised 510 plate (raised just enough to protect the device without causing noticeable gaping) with Gold plated, spring loaded 510. The device is of good quality for a device made of cheaper materials and ergonomically very good.

Atomizer Base
The Kit comes with a pod pre-installed into the atomizer base which has a 510 thread and is made out of Stainless Steel, you also receive a second pod section so pretty sure just the pod sections will be sold separately making them cheap as the base seems well made and very durable. Looking inside the base we can see 2 spring loaded contacts and central we can see where the 510 has been secured, also there is 2 little grooves (one either side) which is for notches on the pod to slide into which locks the pod into the correct position, it is mainly secured by press fitting, the pod fits nice and tight. On both sides of the base section we have 3 small airflow holes and also one side branding. Looking at the bottom of the atomizer base it looks just like the bottom of any other atty with printed branding, safety stamps and a Gold plated 510.

The Pod
The Pod is designed so when it is fitted into the atomizer base it looks more like a disposable atomiser than a pod. It is one piece and the mouth section is shaped like a MTL drip tip with a narrow bore. The bottom section of the pod where it gets fitted into the atomizer base has a notch either side to slide into the already mentioned grooves. Looking at the base we have 2 contacts and 2 silicone bungs which need removing for filling. I would remove both so as you fill using one port air can escape from the other, the bungs plug in nice and deep to fully seal the ports. The ports are not the biggest so care needs to be taken when filling to avoid a mess and the bungs don't stay attached to the pod when removing, no spares are supplied. Going back to the bottom section of the pod towards the bottom, one each side we have very small airflow slits. The pod has a 1.2ohm MTL coil pre-installed and the pod is a sealed unit so just like a disposable pod from a pod system once the flavour has dropped off it needs throwing and a new pod using, the pod holds 2ml of e-liquid and you receive one with the atomizer base as a complete unit and a spare pod section without base as only this section is disposable.
