Anytime I've seen airflow leaks in stock coils, it's because it's not tightened enough, or the o-ring has failed. Pull the coil, wipe the threads real well, and thoroughly inspect the o-ring. Check the base, clean really well, and make sure there's nothing in the way or wrong with the mating surface. Put the coil back in and tighten it well, and put it all back together.
Usually, if the above doesn't work, toss the coil and grab another one. Sometimes there's an imperfection that you can't see that causes the problem...but it's been awhile since I've seen one that can't be fixed by tightening the connection.
