Got this tank from local shop. Replaced coils to quad ones immediately, put it back making sure the glass sitting perfectly. Works fine and no complains whatsoever.

The only thing which bugs me is that the tank is sweating. Let me explain. The glass and the tank is covered with e-juice. Even after I wiped it completely with napkins, it's covered with e-juice in 1-2 hours. Even worse - in the bottom, probably from venting holes - it's like dripping, at least I can see even a drop.

It's not like a big deal to me, but I was thinking this tank is not leaking at all. I'm keeping it in the pocket and the pocket not really soaked, but smells for sure.

I disassembled the tank completely to make sure the coils, glass and in overall the tank not loose. It's not. But it's continue sweating.

I talked to the guy from local shop who got exactly the same setup (Sigelei 150W TC + TFv4) and he confirmed he has exactly the same issue.

I kinda new to mods and subohm tanks, so I'm not sure if I'm doing smth wrong. I need help.

When out and about I use this vapeband to keep the top from accidentally opening in my pocket... I have not noticed my tank sweating or leaking at all...

I do the same as Break-19 up there. I had it leak from the topfill a couple times as it swung open on me.

Anyways, I've had the sweating once in a while but it's not a regular thing. The leaking, never with premade coils. As for making sure everything is in place correctly, tightness shouldn't be an issue, in fact you don't want to overtighten. What you need to make sure is that all the o-rings are in good condition. There's a lot of them, you have one at the top and bottom of the glass. One where the coil hits the chimney on the chimney, one above the bottom threading on the coil, and then there's the silicone gasket in the topfill portion. Make sure those are all in good shape, as if they aren't you'll have leaking issues as the "vacuum" will be incomplete.

Same setup here btw or close, just normal 150 sigelei. And like I said I've noticed some sweating now and then, nothing huge just a little slickness on the outside of the tank. Can't even call it a film, it's such a minute thing but certainly a different feel than the clean glass/metal. But, this isn't an always thing just sometimes, not sure what the reason is. My thought was maybe outside heat? If you're in the sun with it in your pocket? I don't know for sure.

I noticed some liquid collecting between the sliding top, and the Silicone ring. Usually, I wipe both dry with a Vaper towel. Haven't had any leaking otherwise.

I get this as well, and actually I have it seep up through that hinge as well such that there will be a little bit of visible liquid on the top of that round hinge hole. That's not what is causing this "sweating" though, just another way juice likes to escape from the tank. Happens on my full size but not on my mini for that.

The sweating is something that really confuses me, but not the first tank I've had that on. It's obviously a slick juice feel but nothing visible even when I wipe down the tank with a tissue. It's very funky so I was intrigued when I heard someone else talking about it. I can't figure out what it is.

If that's happening, then the seals are not sealing fully. No tank should "sweat" ejuice.

There was another member who was having a similar issue with his TV4. I shared this video and it seemed to help. Hope it works for you as well..

Wow, so many answers

First of all, let me thanks you, guys, for your attention and wiliness to help me. I very much appreciate it :)

Break-19, yes, I'm using the band which comes with the tank exactly as you showed on the pic. I (hopefully) tomorrow will get new lenses for my camera and I'll post the pic with it.

JERUS, I disassembled the tank to check that. it was EXTREMELY hard to get off the glass from the top cap though. In fact, I was thinking I gonna break the fricking glass, but it finally I got if off. In the beginning I could not see the gasket. But later on I figured out that there is a gasket there. It sits in the channel on the internal wall and that's why you cannot really see it unless you specifically looking for it. I'm not sure how hard will be to put a new one there. Looks not very practical for me. Hopefully, I won't need to do that for a while. I guess the same setup is with the bottom part, again I cannot see the gasket, but I guess it's there. I put it all back making sure everything is tight. Talking about threads - those are well done and stops when it's tight enough. Unless some1 is extremely strong and not so... smart (to be politically correct ;) ) to overtighten.

Zamazam, not sweating only, it was even dripping. At least I can easily see that on matte finish body of the mod. Drives me nuts, TBH.

skt239, Thanks for the video. I remember this guy was talking about Efest batteries bubbling on 14A. That's why I'm end up with 25R's BTW.[/URL]
TFv4 (not mini, big one) has not one, but 2 lips - on both sides of that gasket. I decided to cut top one only. I would think, the bottom lip is to avoid leaking under the gasket during filling, that's why I'll keep it for now. If that won't fly, I'll get rid of the 2nd lip as well. I don't have those pliers as that guy on video, so I took nippers (which my wife using to cut her nails) and they did a great job. I'll see in a few days if there are any leaks and post here.

If that will work, may be moderators can add this video to the "knowledge base". It might be helpful to other guys in the same situation.

Rip tripper did a review on this tank and the main issue (aside from it "eating" juice) was the material the orings were made of. He took a brand new atty out of the box and took the bottom off and particles of the bottom o ring were stuck to the glass. Do a YouTube search for rip trippers smok tfv4 if you haven't found a remedy to your problem. This was good to read because I'm in the middle of a decision to buy the tfv4 or the uwell crown. Still undecided :(

If you like to rebuild your own coils TFv4, if you are mainly going to stick with premade coils crown is probably the better bet as their coils are like half as much as the TFv4 ones, though the TFv4 has a huge variety. I love my TFv4 but I don't think I would if I was sticking to mainly the premade coils.

Joe, that was exactly my case. The only difference was - the glass was stuck to the top cap. I almost broke the glass.

JERUS, TBH that's the plan - to get Ti wire and get my hands dirty :) the only thing - I decided to start DIYing with e-juice. TFv4 is really thirsty tank, I did not realize it's that bad :)

africamonk, my base is also hot even on fairly low wattage. nothing much you can do about it.

update 2. Day and a half - no leaks :)

I think that video should be put into a sticky. Seems to help a lot of people with their leak issues.
