Like title says, the quad was brand new, I primed the cotton and filled the tank and let it stand 20 min or so. Hit the fire button and it says low atomizer, then looked at the display and it's reading .016. No wonder it wouldn't fire. So now what? Is it just a bad coil? I have used other smok quads on this mod and it was great. I slapped a barely used tri coil and it working great and displaying the right ohm. Thanks for your opinion.

I had this happen recently with the v8 coil for my arctic. The coil read at .06 when it was supposed to be a .2. I asked around on here and found it was a shot coil straight out of the box. Toss another in and you should be good to go.

Duds happen, it's one of the reasons I don't like them even though in general they're very solid. It's just always a bad feeling knowing you spent a few dollars on something that isn't working.

That said, it could be just the coil messed up a bit inside and maybe you can tweak it into place and get it working. Things touching that should be and all that.
