I just got my tfv4 and was wondering how long the coils last. How do I know when to change it. Does it just stop working?

You can't really put a time on it. It depends on the liquid you're using. However, signs of when it's time to change the replacement coil heads are muted flavor, and/or dark discoloration of your liquid in the tank, compared to the liquid in your bottle.

Congrats! Tfv4 is one of my favorite tanks..I get about 2 weeks or so on the triple coil at 75-80w..the quad coil a little longer..you'll notice a reduction of vapor or even a lack of flavor when they need replaced, but I've never had one quit working altogether..

TFV4 and the RX200 work extremely well for me.. Great tank!

Of all the dumb things...I went and forgot to get batteries when I ordered my RX200.So now I'm left wondering if it is safe to use the triple-coil on my Smok X-Pro Plus .

I just got 2+ weeks on my quad coil at 90 watts with some 80vg juice, you will start to get a crappy taste when it's going south but really all depends on your juice/flavor.

So that's a yes to my question above?

According to the specs, you should be able to. Might need to charge the battery during the day though.
Thanks that was my thoughts exactly but like my granddad used to say "Better to not know and ask, than not know and do".
My big worry was if the Smok X-Pro M80 Plus could actually handle the stress.I know it's got the builtin dual lipo-whatever thingy at 4400mah.
Damn it I'm rambling again.
Anyhow...Thanks for the help and have a great night/morning @Neunerball ...Cheers!
