Hey guys, I got a big problem here.
I have an Alien mod kit, came with a TFV8 baby rba, gave it to a friend some months ago he brought it back because he can't rewick it. When I opened, the cotton literally turned pitch black, it was like coal in there, I washed and burned it for like an hour till it came off, I rewicked but it started to leak. Next day I try to take it apart again but the base is stuck to the mod and the atomizer is stuck to the base also. Couldn't take it apart by hand so I used a vise and after it came apart I noticed that the atomizer head is rotating infinitely and I can slight move it up and down (barely noticeable in the video but it does move up/down). Here's a video of it, hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say here.
The problem itself is that the mod is reading 0.4ohm then 1.4ohm, then 2ohm, it's random. The actual coil is about 0.35ohm but even if I manually adjust, after I fire it, it shows "no coil", when it cools down, it recognizes about 0.6 - 2ohm again. So it's shorting out like mad. I tried rotating it in either direction, there was no change. Did I ruin the RBA or there is a way to fix it back into the original position ?
