TFV8 getting way to hot

I got a tfv8 tank using octa coil with a rx200s, after like 4 hits the tank right at the bottom were the air holes are get really hot. I dont know if it is normal but im not talking warm either it really hot. Is this normal or should i be concerned?

What wattage are you using it at? All 5 of my TFV8's are functioning flawlessly with the octuplet coils. Also, are you chain vaping? Like hitting it non-stop for those 4 hits? This is a high wattage tank and some heat transfer is to be expected. I vape anywhere from 100 to 150 with mine on my DNA mods and have not experienced too much heat transfer. I would suggest cleaning the tank, reseating the coil and giving it a try. Best of luck!

I do chain vape but it was not doing this before but i was using a higher resistence coil on it before

Any atomizer is going to become hot at high wattage.
