TFV8 Octuple tank reading 0.18 ohms.

Hey guys for some reason my mod keeps reading my TFV8 Octuple tank at 0.18 ohms. The tanks max is supposed to be 0.15 ohms. Will it be safe to vape sub ohm at 0.18 though?

Is probably fine. What are you testing it on? Mod, ohm meter, dmm?

The coil is designed to ohm out at 0.15, but variances in the materials, the way the coil and wick sit (and it may settle a bit as it breaks in as well) as well as differences between the res metering and internal res of different mods means... a factory head can read a couple hundredths different at various times for various reasons. Up or down.

What you want to be concerned with is... is it very close to where it should be, meaning no electrical shorts or opens and does it remain at a stable resting resistance reading once it's broken in? (the res will rise during firing in any TC mode... that's normal, it's how TC works)

If both are true... you're good to go (presuming safe, quality batteries ;) ).
