TFV8 RBA Deck Problem.

First of all, this is an otherwise awesome tank. I have not tried the factory coils yet. I use rebuildables almost exclusively.
Anyway after I picked the tank up from a local b&m, I immediately installed the RBA deck. I guess my first mistake was to immediately wick it up without dry burning/check it out.
Fast forward to vaping, it is an awesome vape but I noticed that the resistance was jumping all over the place. After I took it apart to see why. I noticed that the Negative post is loose. The negative is not machined into the deck, it is press fitted. But obviously not very well, on mine anyway. As we all know, China doesn't necessarily have the finest of quality control standards.
So now I am hoping that I can take it back to the b&m and swap the RBA deck out for one that works right...
