THR reports Pure Flix Entertainment, the production company behind God's Not Dead, is looking to adapt the incredible true story. The CEO and co-founder of Pure Flix, Michael Scott, wants to honor everyone involved with the rescue effort.
On June 23, rising water trapped a dozen boys and one coach inside a cave, and the rescue effort successfully concluded on Tuesday. Former Sgt. Saman Kunan died Friday while trying to rescue the boys.
