Hello vapers
I decided to make a thread for those who have had a little wicking issue with this thing.
I'd like to start off by saying this is an awesome tank, the method which I am currently using
is giving me some of the best flavor I've had from any tank I've tried to date, and the clouds
aren't far behind. So I received this in the mail a few days ago and decided to try different builds
as well as different wicking to see what worked and what didn't. I must admit, I got a little frustrated
as the tank did not perform up to my expectations like I initially thought it would. I had gone through
various reviews/tutorials on youtube which mostly recommended for us users to feed the wicks
through the small holes at the bottom of the deck and either have them resting at the bottom of the
tank or just about a centimeter below the deck holes. However, neither of these two methods worked
for me. Maybe it could be because of the cotton I was using, but I tried japanese cotton sheets and
organic cotton balls for about 5 different builds with no success. So what worked you ask?
It was very simple, and in fact made the process of building on this thing that much easier.
I decided to go through damn near every review of the Avocado 24 online which provided a build
tutorial and stumbled across this.
I'm so thankful for this guys tutorial because this did an absolute turn around for this tank.
It wicked just beautifully and there was no issues whatsoever anymore. One thing I did do
is decide to put Cotton Bacon for the wicking. Now I'm not saying this may be your preference
for this tank and it may not necessarily be what works for you, but this method did a huge
difference for me and hopefully it can be of some assistance to you if you're having
any trouble with this tank.
Now...like I said earlier, I am thoroughly enjoying this tank. BUT there is one small thing that
really needs to be pointed out about this thing which I have to say is a CON due to the nature
of safety. When I received the tank I decided it to clean it and exchange the o-rings. After taking it
apart I seemed to have everything in place, so I put the tank back together and proceeded to
building and wicking. Later that evening I found a small peek insulator resting at the top of my
bed, keep in mind I had been vaping on this thing for the past 2-3 hours. I then realized that
the insulator looked foreign as I had never seen the insulator in any of my other tanks/rda's.
So I decided to go online AGAIN and look for all the pieces that come in the Avocado 24.
There is no signs of the peek insulator on any diagram. However, I was lucky enough to find
a thread where numerous people had lost this insulator as they washed and cleaned their thanks.
After further review I saw someone post a picture of how the insulator looked and realized it was the
same one I found resting at my bed. This is the picture that was posted

The insulator is located right underneath the deck where the center pin threads into the deck, this
is VERY important for you to know since it can be potentially dangerous if you lose this.
I hope anyone who owns this tank finds their preferred method and shares any techniques that
may be useful for us all. Please be careful when disassembling your tank and remember to keep VAPING!!
Also, for anyone who may be interested in my build
I'm using a parallel 24g Kanthal single coil, 6 wraps on a 3mm drill bit doing 0.27 ohms
vaping at 46 watts using a Sigelei 150TC
