What they are saying is they never bothered to try youth cessation to treat teens for REAL CIGARETTES or they would have a "large body of research" on it just like adults.

So if it wasn't important enough (or too risky) to try drugging teens to quit smoking cigarettes then why even talk about trying it for the 95% safer option (vaping)?

I've been thinking long and hard about this...

The only reason I can come up with is that the teens who vape are not is the same class as the teens who smoke.

A Juul starter kit is $50 and 4 pods is $20 at a gas station.

This is a rich kids problem and that is why they care so much.

Can anyone come up with an alternate theory as to why FDA are even considering drugging teens to get them to stop vaping but never even bothered for the last 3 decades to try to drug teens to get them to stop smoking? - 5150
