Today I am writing my latest review of the new kit by Eleaf, the iStick AmniS with the GS Drive tank.

When I first opened the box I had not even seen the actual size of this last month, upon opening it I was kind of surprised due to the size and intrigued on how this kit would actually perform. Day to day a lot of people use large, dual battery, large screen, 5ml tank devices and probably would just look past the smaller devices, I being one of these people.
Well, I'm paying attention to the small devices now,
The GS Drive tank:
This tank is small, 2ml, but under the hood it holds a subohm coil, 2 different Mesh coils, yes, Mesh coils in a tank that measures out at approximately 16.15mm in diameter and 35.78mm tall, 50.88 with the drip tip, and yes that is a pretty tall drip tip. And just for the curious the drip tip is proprietary which I haven't seen another that is compatible with the GS Drive. The drip tip sports more of a MTL draw than DTL but from using the sub ohm coils provided with the tank, it works great either way.
Oh, did I mention the child-resistant topfil? Well, I will say from using the topfil I know some pretty smart children that might be able to figure this top out, but pushing the button one direction while pushing topcap another direction it is not likely to just pop open.
With the GS Drive you get the new GS Air coils, a 0.35 ohm and a 0.75 ohm coil. Since this is a low wattage device the coils are not pushed to where you ever get a burnt taste. 30 watts seems to be a great spot to park both these coils at. The coil heads themselves are smaller than the normal Mesh coils that are on the market but I assure you they do put out a nice flavor even with a 80/20 and 70/30 liquid. Having the smaller diameter coils also helps with liquid consumption, you barely even notice the tank level dropping but your are still getting a great flavor from the Mesh coils. The vapor production is not going to win any contests but this device is all about flavor and caters more to the beginner or relaxed User. Definitely a kit to take to work, not bulky, and no leaks(not that I experienced)

Now lets talk size, try not to laugh. Sometimes big things come in small packages.
Ok. these are the specifications, but lets see reality.
Yes, it is this small, but lets put it next to the Polar kit by Vaporesso for a bit more prospective.
This is where being small has its advantages. It is easily compact inside the bag or backpack, and even a pocket.(I personally do not pocket devices since devices can be accidentally activated which could be a bad thing, yes, we have all seen the videos and we don't want to be on THAT video!) You could literally lose this device in your hand because of its size and especially its weight!
The AmniS holds an internal 900mah battery which seems small but taking into consideration that the device only puts out 30 watts I found on a full 2ml(6mg Nic)tank I didn't need to plug it in until right before I reached home.
The body of the AmniS has a rubberized textured which is more soft than rubber, it has a oddly comfortable feel to it but at the same time feels very durable.
The AmniS doesn't sport a flashy screen, disco lights, or a barely usable AI interface. This device makes vaping simple, easy, and enjoyable. Having owned/own several "bling" devices, using a device like this seems to unload the weight and problems that seem to occur with the larger external devices. Simple equals less stress, IMHO.
One button on the topside to fire the device and a multicolored LED light just below the fire button on the same side, that lets the User know how much battery is remaining.
Green equals 100-60%
Amber equals 59-30%
Blue equals 29-10%
Red equals 9% down to 0, otherwise known as grab your backup device. haha
The AmniS is charged using a USB cable which is supplied in the box along with 2 Mesh coils(0.35/0.75), 2 spare topfil gaskets, the GS Drive User manual, and the iStick AmniS User manual.
Including all the good protections.
Overcharge, Over-discharge, Over-current, 15 second draw limiter, and Short circuit protections.
The iStick AmniS with the GS Drive tank was a nice surprise to see especially in the sea of multi-battery and Pod systems. Good flavor in a small package.
If you are looking for a very simplistic device that uses flavorful Mesh coils at a lower wattage that does not take up a lot of space that has a durabable feel to it then you may want to take a closer look at the iStick AmniS.
If you are looking for battery life that will possible last you a day, day and a half with large vapor production and want the option of using different tanks at optional wattages then I suggest that you look at other options.
