Phil Miller… uh, I mean Tandy Miller’s new problem is everyone else’s good news, as the new Phil Miller is already proving to be a great asset to the Last Man community. Hot showers, garbage pool clean-ups, getting the cow to walk down stairs… this guy’s got it all!

This is a positive turn for us as viewers as well because it has led to two notable developments. First off, Todd is no longer the perfect, omnibenevolent guy that he was formerly painted as. With his jealousy of Melissa’s interactions with New Phil growing, Todd has become more of an actual person. He even tells Melissa she can’t hang out with New Phil, which obviously isn’t going to work. “I forbid it,” he says, which of course means Todd and Melissa are now broken up.
