Okay, first a rant. Telsa has no business here. He had nothing to do with DC, he invented AC. This should be called the Edison. This is just marketing BS. /endrant
This little guy has been a trooper. I've been throwing it around ever since I got it. Paint has held up well enough, and it has just kept chugging.
It has an STM32 microprocessor in it, which I love. The case is less than ideal. It seems to be made to a price way lower than it should be. The OLED screen is nice and bright, I've had no issues seeing it in daylight and nighttime. It claims to have TC, but I cannot get it into the mode at all. I don't have anything other than a RDA and some Ni200 to try it with so YMMV. For a very basic power mode device it works great for me, I haven't jumped into temp control yet.
It's one of my daily carries, along with my Smok cube 2. Pay no mind to the missing screen plastic, I did that trying to see how I can get it out.
Issues:
Can't use TC mode
Case is coated in what seems to be the sweatiest paint ever.
Wrong name used, again /endrant
510 connector seems to be made of the softest metal ever. The center pin is very touchy, I've already wasted one just trying to adjust it.
Bottom cap is a pain to swap 18650's
The good:
Very durable
Uses name brand parts inside, making accuracy excellent. It's on par with my HP 3478A bench meter.
Most things seem to fit the 510 without adjustment
Battery rattle is easily adjusted with the bottom cap
All in all, it's an okay mod at the price of 25-35 bucks. Would I buy it again? Nope. I didn't mean to the first time, was just in my cart.
