It seems like Hollywood never stops churning out new Robin Hood movies -- the latest is out this week, starring Taron Egerton. But can you blame studios for returning to that well over and over? Not only is Robin Hood one of the most recognizable heroes in the Western world, the fact that he exists in the public domain means anyone can take a crack at the character.
One interesting side effect of this is that a number of movies and TV series have featured characters crossing paths with Robin Hood; basically, he shares a lot of universes with a bunch of our favorite characters. So with the new movie hitting, we thought it would be fun to spotlight the most noteworthy examples of this phenomenon. To be clear, we're mostly focusing on cases where other pop culture characters actually met Robin Hood (or a version of him), not where they play-act as Robin and his Merry Men (with one weird exception).
