Just in time for the Back to School season, Amazon is offering the newest (7th generation) Apple iPad Air 11" M3 128GB tablet for just $449 after a hefty $150 off discount. That's the best price I've seen for this 2025 model with the M3 chip and beats out Amazon Prime Day's price by $50. I don't expect this price to drop any further for Black Friday.

The 7th gen iPad Pro Air was released in March of 2025 and is the last generation model. This new model is equipped with the M3 chip, which is about 20% faster than the M2 chip found on the previous generation model. The 2025 iPad Air also features an 11" 2360x1640 (264ppi) Liquid Retina display with P3 Wide Color and True Tone and comes stock with 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity. It's compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB‑C) and the Magic Keyboard. The newest iPad Air also supports Apple Intelligence.

Apple iPad Air (2024) Review (older model) by Jacqueline Thomas

"The iPad for the rest of us. For most people that need their tablet to play games or watch movies, the iPad Air is the sweet spot. It might not be quite as premium as the iPad Pro, but with its beautiful display and still-powerful M2 processor, it just doesn’t need to be."
