While The Simpsons has had countless iconic moments during its legendary 33-year run, the Steamed Hams scene may just be one of its greatest. Now, a fan-made point-and-click adventure game by NeoDement called Steamed Hams: The Graphic Adventure will let players of all ages experience this story in a new way.

For those unaware, the Steamed Hams scene was from Season 7, Episode 21 - "22 Short Films About Springfield" - and is a short story about Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers. Skinner has Chalmers over for dinner and, when he burns the meal, he chooses to tell ever-increasing lies to cover up his mistake. These lies include making Chalmers believe he said they were having "steamed hams" instead of "steamed clams" after he picked up a few burgers from Krusty Burger.

As reported by GamesRadar, Steamed Hams: The Graphic Adventure looks to honor that scene that has since become one of The Simpsons' most enduring memes and it plays much like a classic LucasArts adventure game like Monkey Island or Maniac Mansion.

You can try the game out for free right now at Game Jolt, and each line is pulled from the episode itself, The Simpsons: Hit and Run, or one other episode where a few new lines were needed. Furthermore, the sprites were brought in from The Simpsons Arcade Game and modified slightly. While there isn't too much freedom in the game, it accomplishes what it does very well and is a joy to play.

We ranked "22 Short Films About Springfield" as our sixth-favorite The Simpsons episode of all time, and Steamed Hams went a long way in making that so.
