The SXMini Q Class or the Triade DNA 200?

Good Day VapingUnderground,

Trying to make a decision on which mod is the best out of the two... or maybe there is one even better! I'm trying to step my game up from my RX200! The mods mentioned are 3-6xs more expensive but from what I've been reading, they are worth it. I am not, at all, into all the escribing etc., but would like to have at least one mod that is very good quality. Maybe, I should just purchase two more RX series... the RX200s and RX2/3?

Your feedback/insight/opinion will help me make a most informed decision and be greatly appreciated!

Also, do you think the prices will be coming down on these above mentioned DNA's, any time soon? I saw the SMY DNA75 for $50... Will this be a trend? Anyhow, hope to hear from you soon!

Lucy

it depends on what you like
- if you don't use tc a lot - the sxq, hands down would be my suggestion. That board fires non tc wire beautifully. You can program in a power curve for Kanthal; which, you cannot with the dna.
- if you like tc, the dna board is simply the best. Its more accurate and smoother than the sx. the board in the q class uses PFM to regulate tc.. rather than a smooth curve. To me it feels like a staccato rather than a smooth output.

Both are great mods though, and I doubt you would regret buying either of them

For the price I would get the Triade. It can be had at ecig.com for $112.50 with the coupon code: ecig10. The Q is around $200. If you find a deal on the Q, Yihi won't honor the warranty (which by the way is 6 months vs 1 year from Evolv (on the board))

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks F1r3b1rd! I don't use TC alot but always appreciate the option to and as I grow in vaping, who knows, it may become my preference. I like options and I guess if so, The Triade would be the way to go! But, would you say there are many other DNA boards that out perform the Triade or are they basically the same? I see prices for mods with the DNA board can get pretty high. Maybe, the Triade would be the best for my money similar to how the RX200 was the best for my money(non DNA chip)? Anyway, thanks alot!

Wow! Thanks Steve! I think I will be taking your advice(and others...), use the code you shared(that was just a freaking awesome gesture!:), and get the Triade! For $112, it is much more palatable, coming from the RX200. Now, just if I could decide on the color... The red looks kinda brown to me... and the lighter brown/yellow is definitely not an option. Decisions, decisions... :) THANKS, AGAIN! VAPE ON!

all the dna boards operate the same
the difference are only in their max output power and in the case of vaporshark the charge rate.
but the 133 and the 200 are exactly the same, with the exception of 133w vs 200w

I can assure you, that you wont be disappointed. I don't even buy Kanthal anymore. Nothing tops a good SS build in tc...

The Red and Brown are my favorites as well. I think you will really like that mod. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Cheers,
Steve

I'd definitely go with the Triade, especially at that price. The RX 2/3 is a fine example of the rush to dump products on to the market before August 8th. They should have called that cobbled together mess "The After Thought".
