Good evening fellow Vapors,
Tonight I am reviewing the latest variable wattage device from Freemax, The Twister 80w kit. This isn't the first device from Freemax, for those who haven't seen it, the Conquer was a single 18650 80w VW/TC device which comes with the Firelord sub ohm tank and RBA section. But the Twister 80w is a different kind of beast sporting an internal 20600 2300mah battery with variable wattage control and topped with their new M2 Mesh tank.
This kit was sent directly to me from Freemax, the majority of what I receive to test and review is passed along to vapers that are in need.

Currently the Twister 80w comes in 6 watercolor Graffiti designs in Red, Yellow/Orange, Black, Blue, White, and Green. I was notified that a Carbon Fibre line of colors would be following in the future.
In the Box:
1 x Freemax Twister 80w
1 x Freemax 2 Tank (X2 Mesh Coil 0.2ohm(40-80w) installed
1 x X1 Mesh Coil 0.15ohm(40-90w)
1 x Spare 5ml Glass section
1 x Spare Orings
1 x USB Charger
1 x User Manual
1 x Warning Card
1 x Warranty Card
The Kit itself comes in 1 box except the M2 Tank and the Twister 80w each have their own separate boxes.
Just to show a size comparison here is the Twister 80w to the right of the Eleaf iJust 21700.
The iJust is just a tad shorter than the Twister 80w.
The Twister 80w has an adjustable wattage ring which is very clickable with numbers and dashes to indicate where you the desired wattage set at. Instead of starting at 0 watts the Twister 80w starts at 5 watts and adjusts in increments of 5 watts all the way up to 80 watts.
The Twister 80w runs between 0.5v-9v, 1.0a-30a, and carries a resistance of 0.1 to 3.0ohms.
The watercolor print has a very smooth glassy finish to it which does scratch but is not noticeable due to the Graffiti print. Surprisingly the Twister 80w will accommodate their Mesh Pro tank with the overhang only being above the bottom stainless steel plate on the tank.
With the wattage control ring set all the way up to 80 watts using the Triple M Pro coil it did feel like it was putting out the advertised 80 watts. Behind the black Fire button is an LED that is your normal 5 clicks to power on/off as well as showing you the percentage of battery left in Green 100-65%, Yellow 65-30%, and Red 30-0%. When charging the Twister 80w the LED behind the Fire button will illuminate Red and extinguish when fully charged.
The Twister 80w does come with Freemax's Protections, Overtime, Overheat, Overload, Overcharge, Battery Virtual High, and Short Circuit protections. The Specifications for the Twister 80w are 101.6mm by 24.7mm with a very average stick weight of 55 grams. The overall feel is very nice with no rattles from the Fire button nor the bottom wattage control ring. It would have been nice to see this device with a removable 21700 so the User could keep vaping through without having to wait for it to recharge.
The device is charged via the supplied USB cable utilizing the port opposite the Fire button.
The Fireluke 2 Mesh Tank:
The Mesh 2 tank is an update from the original Fireluke Mesh tank and does work with the original SS316 and Kanthal Single Mesh coils. With the Mesh 2 tank they have added the sliding topfil as they did with the Mesh Pro tank with the same Red Dot to show where to push the top back.
The fill port is 8.5mm by 2.8 mm with a bottom airflow of 15.5mm by 2.1mm. The bottom airflow ring has a nice adjust-ability, more stiffness to it with a pin to stop it from going full circle. Their patented top airhole allows for air to escape the tank while filling just like the on the Mesh Pro tank.
The options of coils for the Mesh 2 tank are a SS316 single 0.12ohm(400-550f), Kanthal X1 single coil 0.15ohm, X2 Dual Kanthal Mesh 0.20ohm, X3 Triple Kanthal Mesh 0.15ohm, NX2 Mesh coil 0.50ohm, and an unreleased X4 Mesh coil rated at 0.15. The coils are a 90% Flax/cotton mix of wood pulp which gives off a nice flavor at lower wattages of 55 and a surprising amount of vapor at the same time.
The coil life is just as surprising as the original Mesh tank even when using the X2 and X3 coils with changing them at around 1.5 to 2 weeks depending on the mix percentage, sweetness of the liquid being used. I used multiple brands and mixes with the X1, X2, and X3 and even the coil killer liquids and still found them to last with no loss in flavor.
Overall it seems that Freemax is still staying in the Vape game with the Twister 80w and the Mesh 2 tank, every way you look at the set up is solid. For those of you that do not like the sliding top fill feature of the Mesh 2 tank the 5ml glass on the Mesh 2 tank does fit on the original Mesh tank so you can still enjoy the original just with 5ml capacity instead of 3ml.
Thank you for your time this evening and remember to Vape Safe before you Vape Happy,
