So... I have a ceritfied dead RX200, and I don't think that the odds of finding a donor board are all that likely.

I can't help staring at it though. It beckons me.... Then, I have an idea! A conversion to a 12v series mod. I will have to upgrade the wiring, I have a suitable switch, and one RDA that will hold a suitable build.

I understand the sanity of creating a three18650 series mech is questionable. Please understand that this will not be a daily use mod, and I have done the math. What I'm wondering is, can anybody recommend a current limiting/volt meter module? Preferably one that will fit underneath the RX200 faceplate.

What's in the HOG's? Though its Para-series they may have over engineered it.

Yeah, doesn't it have a volt meter on the side of it?

They one I saw in person had all sorts of shit wired in it. Though no telling if it was authentic or not.

That is looking like it might be what I need. Just parsing the spec sheets, Not too worried about the volt meter part, I was just hoping that there might be a integrated idiot proof module.

Well the volt meter part I got covered, I was hoping for a current limiter, but wading into the data sheets is getting to be too much like work.. I can't be bothered to design an external reference voltage to control the chip. It's looking like I might put a volt meter in it for eye candy, and my current regulation will be my build.

Any cheap & huge atty suggestions?

No shortage of stuff for 2 battery series mods, but not a lot for three.

I think I'll make the pilgramage to the vape shop today, and see whats around. I'm beginning to think I might pussy out, and just do a 2 batt series mod.

I went to the vape shop, looks like the Temple is going to top the Un Wise Mech. If you hold the drip tip to your ear, you can hear the ocean..... Big atty. 2 post deck, and if you hold the drip tip to your ear, you can hear the ocean...

I have a milspec momentary contact switch that is almost perfect. It has a red, candy like button, but it will be a tight fit, and will require drilling out the hole on the mod for the stock fire button, whih means that this is the point at which things are no longer reversable if I located a donor board......

could try getting a hold of any of the joyetech based mods that are supported by the new 3.0 update and see if they fit

Just read this today. Thnk you for the kind offer, however, the Unwisemech project has long been completed.

It came as a complete suprise to me, that the finished product turned out exactly as I thought it would. lol

It was a monster in every sense of the word.

However, I m pleased to announce, there is a Unwisemech V2 in the works. It should be a little more civilized.

Not the mod to take to high tea, but it should require much less in the way of disaster planning.

I'll update here.

Lab notes equal evidence from my perspective! What good is a
Nobel Prize in physics if they lock you up for removing 24 hours of time
from the entire planet in a few nanoseconds? And nobody even noticed.
They didn't even have to reset their clocks!

My point is sure, sooner or later, those little cry-baby theorhetical
astronomers are going to realize that a few equasions no longer work
like they did before, and the tide tables need a little tweaking, but
nobody ever listens to those assholes.

Time is funny stuff. A lot funnier than Einstien ever figured out.
It's not my fault that the national power grid exaggerates it's reserve capacity,
and for that matter, the accuracy of mirowave oven timers wasn't ever that
precise even before the experiment.

All anybody would be concerned about is that I borrowered a little
electricity from those high tension supply lines, and might have caused a few
little blackouts, and that the intrusion in Earth's time stream might
have created ISIS.

ISIS might have started on their own anyway.

Fuck lab notes. Far better just to ask a theorhetical astronomer how old he
thinks he is, and laugh your ass off!!!!

Try irrigating the board with some contact cleaner. 4 screws removes the faceplate, you should be able to get the extension of the spraycan up to the switch, and let it rip. Might fix it.

It'll be worth a try, I'll have to pick some up.

Or I'm gonna suddenly have two Utah sets of batteries to re-assign. :p
