Moseley’s family reportedly filed a missing person's report on January 24 and eventually used a tracker in his car to locate him. His manager, Tabitha Minchew told TMZ: “He was loved by everyone who met him. Such a bright light in everyone's eyes.”

Moseley’s breakout role came when he starred in six episodes of The Walking Dead alongside Danai Gurira’s fearless zombie survivor, Michonne. He appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly due to his role in the show.

Moseley's Walking Dead co-stars have already begun paying tribute to the young actor.

“Heartbroken to hear of the passing of [Moses J. Moseley],” said Jeremy Palko, who played Hilltop Colony resident, Andy, via Twitter. “Just an absolute kind and wonderful human being. You will be missed my friend.”

“Oh God. This is just breaking my heart,” said Melissa Cowen via Facebook. “Moses J. Moseley you were truly one of a kind and a class act. Always nice, funny and a smile to light any room.”

Moseley was born in Aiken, South Carolina, and began acting and modeling back in 2010. A former law student, he once said he had never planned to get into acting but was offered a role in Joyful Noise starring Queen Latifa and Dolly Parton, which then led to further roles.

Talent agency Avery Sisters Entertainment said: “Moses was a phenomenal actor who has appeared in movies such as The Walking Dead, Queen of the South, and American Soul, but MUCH more than that, he was an AMAZING person! For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you would ever meet. We will miss you dearly!”

All of us at IGN offer our condolences to Moseley's family and friends.
