CD Projekt Red has revealed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been pre-ordered over 1 million times worldwide.
The highly-anticipated open-world RPG due out on May 19 has already managed to essentially guarantee itself a strong start when it comes to sales.
"We’ve crossed the 1 million pre-order milestone and it’s all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support,” said Marcin Iwiński, studio co-founder. “This is the last stretch and we’re pushing hard -- over the last two weeks, we’ve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.”
Earlier today it was revealed copies of the game had been sold early in the United Arab Emirates, resulting in several videos of the opening moments and livestreams cropping up online.
