I've never used a Clapton. And just been vaping like 10minutes so not sure yet. The flavor is improving as I go. So far it does not have the flavor my Griffin has . when I am done with the notch I'll make some coils and try them out.

I think you have way too much cotton sir.
Yea I don't own one but all the reviews say your cotton shouldn't touch the bottom of the deck. suck my mod had his going halfway down and he said that's what he recommended and specifically said you don't want it to touch the deck.

Yes I just took it out of the box and filled it up as is. I trimmed them after the excitement wore off.

Yes I trimmed them after the first tank. I had to try it right out of the box. There was so much cotton it sucked up all the liquid of the first fill then I added another 2ml

Its a cool tank. Small capacity. Sucks liquid like my moonshot. Good flavor and clouds. I don't regret getting it , I used it all day today. The constant filling is my only complaint, but then again I knew it only had a 2ml capacity. My top favorites are 1- Griffin 2-ud bellus 3-goblin mini v2

Yea most people were saying to basically regard it as a dripper with a big juice well. It seems interesting I might get it eventually.

I've seen them for $18 on eBay at that price you can't go wrong. I paid $28 on a preorder.

Was really wanting one, as i try the occasional rta, i always end up back with my dripper. This looks like a good compromise. Then i saw this up for preorder and makes me want to wait....

Have you tried the boreas? Its Closest to an rda that I have tried vape quality wise you can run it over 100 watts and fit 4mm+ coils in it. The limitless does look better then the theorem it's basically the same but holds 4 mills.

I'm thinking about the boreas.....but I've been playing this "vapes like a dripper" game for a while, except for the goblin mini, its a rather disappointing game. And with the goblin mini, it seems as easy to drip on an rda as it is to fill the goblin mini. I'm really thinking that anything with anything longer than a goblin mini chimney is not gonna be my cup of tea.

The boreas has basically replaced my drippers I still use them sometime but it's not nearly as often and I agree with you I played that game for a long time too trying to find the rta that would match an rda starting with the big dripper, then the aromamizer v1 (I hate the v1 aromamizer) then the mutank, then the griffin, then the supreme (also very good) then I hesitantly got the boreas thinking it would be any better then the Supreme but I was wrong it's by far the most dripper like experience that I've had with any tank. It's to the point where I know I will keep buyING new atty's but I honestly don't need to this thing is pretty much perfect imo and probably in most people's opinions on this site. I'm just addicted to buying vape shit so I will continue getting more. The goblin mini and Boreas flavor wise is similar but everything else about the boreas is better then the goblin mini you get a shit ton of vapor, 8ml capacity, the deck is huge biggerange then some rda's, the airflow is phenomenal. I'd seriously think about it if I were you...

My theorem smokes my boreas in flavor imo.
Flavor wise or overall? I like the boreas because it gives me great flavor great airflow and I can get a really satisfying amount of vapor.

I must not have the right build in my Theorem yet then because I'm not overly thrilled with it.

Pretty much from what I've read and heard most people are saying that. That's why I probably won't get one.

and now for something different.
theorem rta, 1 ohm clapton coil, front airflow fully open, 40 watts...
that mouthpiece/drip tip is blazing hot...replaced with trinity copa.
nice mellow vape, first top airflow experience...its not bad at all, noisy, but nice flavor...
30 minute drive home and tank was empty in 20 minutes...
tried the notch coil in the vape shop...30 watts was very tame and subdued, 40 watts was kinda like a subtank plus with the clapton prebuilt head, 50 watts was excellent, 60 watts was a throat fuck from satan himself ...
bottom line from this ol cowboy...its a nice tank for you folks that stay under 100 watts...just dont wander too far from your eliquid bottle.

I have a 1 ohm clapton in mine, too. It's not bad, but I think I can do better with it (I hope).

I get hot attys a lot. Vaping my goon I have to be careful not to touch my lips to anything but the drip tip. Vaping my aromamizers the same. The boreas is decent I agree. But it does not taste as good as my petri. Or my aeolus. Or a few other RDAs I own. IMHO, the avocado has as good a flavor as the boreas. But I have over twenty RDAs and most taste better than any of my RTAs.

I saw the new Ijoy RTA review. I think I'll wait and MAYBE give it a go but really I know I'll be back vaping my RDAs in no time flat. I have six RTAs sitting on the shelf now not being used. When I walk the dog I use my cleito.

Recieved my Theorem today. As far as for the notch coils, after 20 mins, vape started to taste like metal and flavors wefe muted. I make my own juice and Ive never tasted it like that. I took the notch coil out and used a simple twisted build and I was back in business.

I love the reduced ramp up time on the notched coil but it is just off for me, also the leads to the coil are fragile. I get better flavor with just a clapton and it is a much more rugged coil. Also the Notched coil is a juice hog!!

I dont like the Theorum. Its a hot mess imo. Constantly spitting juice up in my mouth, gets insanely hot, the whole wicking/juice filling/holding system seems like an after thought, the Notch coils...bleh. Ive tried several builds in it, several wick lengths/thicknesses, lots of wattage variations, just doesnt work out.

image.jpg I pretty much took my Theorem as is and trimmed the wicks to just touch the base of the juice well. So far so good. I really like the flavor it gives me. Very smooth. Not sure if I like the notched coil yet but I'll see as time goes on.

I feel the same lol. Right now Ive got some fused staggered claptons in there in a dual coil set up, I might try one more time just using regular claptons or maybe just regular wire and see how it fares, but so far its been a failure. Disappointing too because I was really looking forward to it a lot, so much that I preordered it weeks out.

Best way I can describe the Notched coils is it's somewhere between a very good single wire coil and a parallel coil. Basically not the best on flavor, but it heats up very quickly and without taking much power. If you're not used to things like fused claptons and the like I'm sure it'd be awesome, but personally having all my builds with some type of quality clapton, it was a bit of a disappointment though I love the ramp up time and power usage (hoping that they continue to develop these things, maybe add ridges or something, not sure).

As for the Theorem itself, it's like my Haze just a bit better. Tastes amazing now that I put my own build in it (10X .3 staple). Lacks the rich thick vapor of my other devices, but that's to be expected with a single coil, but the purity of the flavor is just great.

Overall it's performed up to my expectations. I didn't expect it to give me that rich vapor that my dual coil builds give, I did expect it to give great flavor, and it does. It's replaced my Haze nicely, and while it's not my most used setup, it's getting regular usage.

My only complaint is that the filling system has some quirks, basically the hole is lower than my standard unicorn bottles can reach, and if I get juice onto the hole it can create a wall with surface tension and just ugh. But, not a huge deal. That's the only thing the Haze had better as far as I'm concerned. I'd give it an A for what it is, just don't expect it to match the vapor production of a good dual coil setup in a solid atomizer, that's not what it is.

Hey guys. So when I received my Theorem, the glass that was pre-installed was cracked so now I'm using the spare. I contacted angelcigs (I bought it from them) and waiting for a replacement glass.

Well, It's been 3 days now and I'm still yet to enjoy the Theorem. I finally thought maybe it's the airflow. Good thing I kept the cracked glass. I took it out and basically used a dremel to make an airflow and close the top slots. After that, it's all up hill. Flavor got intense and the clouds, "Clouds bruh, CLOUDS!!!!"

Hope this helps someone out there. I'm enjoying it for now with the crack glass but I ordered somemore from FT just in case.20160513_072451.jpg

Yeah mine was crack in the back so I used it for airflow test. I'm still using it with the new air slot. I have a vape band to hold it tight. The new airflow gives me way better flavor and clouds than the top airflow.

Mine chipped too.

But there is another version of the Theorum floating around some site or another (Chinese vendor) that is a clone and is a V2. There was a few differences that I cant think of off the top of my head, but apparently the original Theorum was so bad that the Chinese cloners took it upon them selves to upgrade it lol

its the same crappy airflow. I like the v1 deck better for vertical coils

I like that one better. You can set it up with a "real" dual coil set up, has a screen to stop that fucking spit back, which is the worst part of the Theorum for me, and it has some sort of adjustable airflow drip tip (at least thats what it looks like). I might pick one of those up next pay day just to check it out and compare.

Against the advice of many here I bought a Theorem today. First vape was pretty awesome. Flavor was great. Still have the notch coil in that came with it and running it right at 50w. Second vape? Not so much. Flavor still great but juice hit city. For starters this damn drip tip that comes with it has got to go. I'm at work and don't have access to all my spare parts but I will certainly be replacing that drip tip with something else or buy something else for it. I've seen a bunch of posts about breaking or cracking the tank so I took notice of that. Rather than try to Kong it out so that I could trim the redamndiculous amount of cotton back I took my thumbnail and pried the glass up little by little till I had it mostly free. It's not a perfect vape by any means but it's not terrible. The juice hit is a big problem though.

Agreed with you but I didn't even have any good hit. You would think the coil being so close would bring good flavour but it was just air to me. I got tons of clouds (surprisingly) and not much flavour. And the drip tip, Oh My God. It was like sucking on a 12 year old boy's nipples. Funny thing is it guzzles juice too and the top filling hole is pretty much useless unless you have a long nose unicorn type dropper. And RDTA with a troublesome refilling technique is just a very bad RDA. I have no idea why the reviews on this thing are so awesome on youtube though. It's like they all got together, and plan to do something unique but useless and see if they could get away with it. The Vape Illuminati. Man I've never cleaned a tank so fast and put it back into the box. Last night I managed to trade it with a Griffin and let that poor schmuck buying to that hype. Sorry Jaybo and Matt. Love you guys but this does not deliver.

Had to let mine go. It was just wayyyyyy too hot for me. Don't put dual vertical coils in this thing. The glass will get hot enough to burn you.
