Thinking of getting a new mech!

Hey everyone,

So I haven't used a regulated device in a longgggg time, I still love my good ol' mechs. I want to get a new one though, change the style a bit. I am thinking between 3 of them and I have no idea which one to get (if i could i would get all 3 of course lmao) But here are the 3 im interested in:
-Black hawk panzer by MCV (Authentic not a clone)
-Subzero shorty
-Satan mod by El diablo philippines

I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on these and which one you recommend.

I love my Satan, she is an awesome series Mod.

The Subzero Shorty is the best 18650 tube I have. I was loving the Oros V2 but the Subzero knocked it out of it's #1 spot.

Two completely different styles and both awesome and can't go wrong with either. I use the Subzero a lot more than the Satan though.

Thanks for your great reply Ro55co I really appreciate it!! They both sound like awesome mods. Did you ever try the panzer black hawk? I think I'll go with the subzero, everyone's been saying she's an awesome mod.

Is there any other mech that you really recommend? I love the design of el diablo's mechs, they look so evil haha.

Haven't tried a Panzer, sorry.

The Anubis is a great Mod but for a Parallel Mod I very highly recommend the Nookie V3, good price point and it's fucking awesome. Series Mod I love the Satan and the VCP Piglet, the Big Pig for 26650.

Another great parallel mod is the Margarita. Dragons Den has the Yolo edition available, highly recommended that parallel.

Thanks again for your reply Ro55co! I really appreciate it. So far i've narrowed it down to either the subzero shorty with 24mm comp rda, or the satan with thanatos rda. Gonna have to make a decision before midnight here lol. They both sound great.

I love my tube mods but i've never owned a series mod. But I heard that the subzero is pretty much the best tube mod out there or one of the best. I've also heard that the satan hits like a freight train.

Yep on both. A 24mm fits perfectly on both. The Subzero hits very, very well also. It's the best tube I have and the machining is exquisite. But damn the Satan will hit you like a train.

Thanks a bunch man, I decided to go with the Satan since I already have some tube mods, might as well give a series a try first filipino mod too from what I see they know what they're doing!

I have the Black Hawk and it performs very well! I haven't tried the other two so I can't compare and tell you which which are better.

So I decided to go with the Ballistic by MCV Philippines instead, with the warhead RDA made by the same guys, thing looks amazing and I can't wait to get it. Anyone has it? Any thoughts on it?

I also bought about a month ago the deathwish modz crossbone "hanged edition" mod with the unholy RDA, thing hits like a truck and is gorgeous!

That's a damn nice mod, be careful with it though. It has a plate not a 510 pin so you have to be aware of a couple of things

• Only use devices that are safe for hybrid style connections
• Never slide the clip in with batteries "without" an RDA already attached

I can't wait to receive it, anything made by MCV looks amazing and they look like they perform great! The only thing i'll change on this mod when I get it is the springs, I'll make some copper ones so there's way less voltage drop. Yeah I've seen Matty Ice's video on it, it's a strange way of doing a hybrid but it's interesting the way they did it. The warhead RDA that I got for it has a protruding pin so that's perfect for it. Lol definitely don't want to short the batteries! Speaking of batteries, ConvictedVapes recommends the samsung 25r's. I usually build at 0.11 - 0.13. I usually use VTC4's. Would you guys recommend 25r's or VTC4's?

The Smurf's are great (25r's), but my go to have been the Sony VTC5A's, 25a with 2600mAh! The VTC4's are 23a and VTC5 are 20a so the VTC5A's are the best for me for Mech's.

Hmmm interesting, I'll have to find a place around here in Canada that sells VTC5A's, they sound great! According to Mooch's chart they're pretty much the best out there.

Yeah Matty Ice does awesome pinoy mod reviews, same with the vaping bogan, love those guys. I had such a hard time choosing the right mod for me cause they all look and perform amazing!

The tahiti box looks gorgeous!! Probably hits like a truck too!

I have a few Anino Lokal's, MCM's, MCV's, AMP (American Made Products), Flawless, and many many other tube mech's, parellel, and series mech boxes myself.

But the ones that you listed are nice. Anything made in the US, Philippines, Korea, UK, and Sweden are top notch.

I really like my Warrior mod by Silverwolf Customs. I too have the Satan and I actually prefer my cheap Noisy Cricket 11-25 to it. In fact I'm giving my Satan away to a friend. Margarita is also very nice. But the best series is the new Silver Wolf Delubio. Silver wolf is by far and away my favorite Pinoy manufacturer. I don't know iof you have seen the new Sith V2 - it is like the tres equis but nicer. I'm very lucky that we have a shop in Toronto that carries all the Silver Wolf gear as well as the Satan and Margarita and Ables and Kennedys and and. It's cheaper than Dragon's Den too.

Honestly I'm not that overly impressed with Silver Wolf Customs quality. I had the Marley Box, ended up selling it. I have the triple parallel Lethal while I really like the triple parallel I'm not impressed by the quality. It's not bad but they went cheap in areas that didn't need to be and for the price ....

Anyway Anubis, Satan, Margarita, Pilak, Nookie and Curimao are excellent quality, much better than the Silver Wolf customs that I've gotten.

With that said, yes I still plan on getting the Sith V2

I had the Marley Box, ended up selling it.

I keep my Marley Box on my build table to have something handy at arm's reach when I'm working no another set up and don't worry about battery life. It's not something I take out, crickets are nice to take out. I sold a bunch of my parellels and kept this one, it was the hardest hitting and my sn is low, I keep it on my desk so it's still mint other than the petina, which I'll keep on there, add's character.

I still plan on getting the VCP Piglet like you mentioned to me long ago @r055co.

I have a Ruby Kennedy - maybe you want to give me all your Silver Wolf Custom boxes for it, lol. Course I want the Modfather on top.

Well the plate falls off and have to glue it back on. The brass base negative is really thin, the Delrin hole for one of the screws was stripped out, just little things like that. I like the Mod but the quality isn't as good as my other Pinoy gear.

As far as the Satan love that Mod and all you have to do is put a dab of Noalox on it

Oh the Arthas hits great, especially with the iJoy 26650 battery. With 30mm devices you need to build a tad lower than a =< 25mm device

Also be careful of the Delubio and make sure you don't drop it for it'll shatter -

And unfortunate with me, I bought 2 crickets and the button chipped and broke on both, most people it's good. I like higher end mech's cuz craftsmenship and no issues, but I enjoy my 2 crickets everyday with fatdaddy..
