Thinner juice

Hi, been a lurker but decided to make the migration from the other site! Looking for my first RTA, and am curious if there are any specific ones that work better with thinner juice. I use 75 PG 25 VG typically. Am a tight draw DL vapor normally, although occassionally go MTL. Using an Atlantis at 30 watts on an istick 50 currently, although will be picking up a TC device as well.

I don't think when it comes to RTA's you need to worry about a thinner juice (high PG ratio), it's more worrying about whether they wick good enough for a thicker juice (high VG ratio).

I think most newer RTA's work fine with either. The only problem you might encounter with a thinner juice is it being more likely to leak. That would usually be solved with more wick in the juice channels. I've been mainly using a 50/50 ratio lately without any issues in my RTA's.

For a tighter draw you might want to take a look at the Merlin. Out of all my RTA's it has the tightest draw.

Another you might consider would be the Lemo Drop. It's a nice little RTA that has a fairly tight draw, and good flavor. The only downside is it's a bottom fill, and it's best to fill with a syringe or a bottle with a long tip on it.

I vape roughly the same ratio as you. I've not had any issue with leaks with the Goblin Mini v1, Lemo Drop, Merlin, and Aqua v2.

The Merlin, Serpent, and Bachelor Nano have all been on my watch list, have to add the Lemo Drop as well

welcome wishbone..I have all the above but the serpent and merlin.They are absolutely great with thinner juices.just got the nano and love it. My goblin V1 is awesome and the lemo drop is the flavor meister.

I just got the bachelor and am enjoying it. I don't vape with 75pg but it's been working fine with 65pg/35vg. Not sure about the mtl bit though, having come off a much more restricted vape pen it's not what I would call 'restrictive' airflow. Combined with the stock widebore tip it's better for direct lung in my opinion. Maybe with a narrower 510 drip tip it would be better.

I can mtl off the bachelor with the airflow totally closed. It's still a bit awkward but the drip tip is a lot fatter than I'm used to so that's likely part of it. Pretty sure the nano is the same as the standard bachelor, just shorter. For restricted DL I think it works well.

Last night I left the bachelor on my mod and laid on its side to charge it. I did make sure to close off the juice flow but I wanted to see how it did in terms of leaking. No leakage at all. Haven't had a leak yet whether laying it down or upright.
