This relaunched Thor series has hinged on the mystery behind the new female Thor's identity and her connection to the Odinson. So it was unfortunate that an early leak of this issue compelled Marvel to reveal the big twist ahead of its release. Luckily, there's still plenty to enjoy in this chapter regardless of whether you've been spoiled ahead of time.
This is the last issue of the series before Secret Wars takes over and Thors replaces Thor. Presumably, that makes this a series finale, though Jason Aron's afterword makes it clear that this is only the start of his big story. Aaron certainly cooked up a fitting challenge to close out the book, as Thor, the Odinson, and practically every A-List heroine in the Marvel Universe untie to battle the Destroyer. It's enough to wonder if the seeds of A-Force are being planted here. At times the arrangement is a little on the nose in how the other characters react to Thor and acknowledge the fact that she's becoming the standard bearer for the new Marvel, but it works all the same. What's important is that this issue elevates Thor beyond her own personal crusade and cements her role in the greater Marvel Universe.
