Thought I was helping...

Recently my sister in-law, her fiance, and her two children became homeless. My wife, my three children and myself offered to help them re-establish themselves where we live in Richland's, NC. While this is progressing it has become very daunting, as we also incurred unforeseen expenses as their vehical was repossessed, this forced them to look at their lifestyle and make serious adjustments I seized the opportunity to convert them both from smoking to vaping within about a week giving them mods and tanks that haven't been used for a while in my collection. How ever since I am on an extremely fixed income being a 100% disabled Army Vet, I had not realized how much the total cost of keeping 4 mods in juice and safe batteries would be. They were heavy heavy smokers, together smoking 4 packs a day. I refuse to buy a pack of cigarettes for anyone since being a vaper now since 2010, does anyone out there have any tips, tricks, places to buy quality in quantity juices? I have never been in a situation like this before, my vape budget is maxed out.

If you look into DIY juices, your average cost will be under $1 per 30ml bottle.

There's a great DIY forum here on VU: DIY Forum
There are also a LOT of fantastic recipes in the DIY Recipe section: Recipe Forum
There is also a lot of help in the DIY Tutorials section: "How To" Tutorials

I hope this helps.

If they were buying 4 packs a day, $20+ they can pitch in. You know if it wasn't for you providing they'd be out spending that on cigarettes, and as soon as the free ride ends they probably will. I don't know why but it seems if you hand someone a free set up they don't use it or they do until it comes time to spend some money on it.

I'd say DIY if at all feasible. I don't know about >$1/30ml but definitely >$2/30ml. Mint/menthol is easy, Forest Fruit is a good single flavor mix.

DIY and MBV are probably your best options. The only thing I would add is buy juice with higher nicotine and don't give them sub ohm set ups. I am shocked at how much more juice (probably double) I am using now that I went to 0.5 ohm coils from 1.2 ohm.

Edit:
BTW Its nice that you are helping out family members in need. I did the same thing with my brother in -law a couple years ago. It was little stressful at times, but it worked out in the end. My advice on that front is have an end game and stick to it. If your hospitality is open ended they might get too comfortable.

I'm all about DIY, but in the short term, I'm with Zam on this one, for now. It's a quick solution for the NOW.

I was looking at the DIY sections at MBV and ecigexpress. I believe that it's going to be the only way that I will be able to go, I am just going to hope that the recipes are close to what my wife and I vape. I am hoping they don't go back to smoking again, but your right its always a possibility. As far as them having any money, they have nothing so I'm not really worried about that. I can promise you guys one thing though, while I think family should take care of family.... This won't ever happen again

Oh do check out the recipe section here - particularly HeadinClouds recipes. They are the only recipes that made my DIY worthwhile when I first started!

Give a man a vape and he uses your stuff.

OK some tips and money savers.
Essential depot.. 4 pack they call a pod is 4 gallons mix and matched vg pg... for like 48 bucks free shipping. That is thousand so 30mls. I would do a 3vg to 1 pg.

Ecx has some decent discounts. They get single flavors only. A 30 ml of flavor lasts a long time if you keep it around 5-10%. Decent nic get it in 100mg pg based a liter is like 55 bucks. After 60 bucks free shipping.

Their coils should be in the 1 ohmish range or they will burn through juice like a fat kid at a buffet.
years worth of vaping supplies in two simple orders.
