Tilemahos v2 plus clone

So I am still looking for a single coil rta with kayfunesque flavor and a restricted lung draw.
I found the tilemahos as the answer to all my needs and ordered the v2 plus clone from Fasttech.
Does anyone have experiences with this thing? Or the original? If it works well I may save money for the
original but right now I just can afford it.
Im kind of pissed off that there are not more single coil rtas coming out right now.
We have more than enough open draw multi-coil cloud chasing rtas now, its time for more sophisticated tanks!

Me neither, but with all the innovations going in open draw stuff, id like to see at least some improvements for the mtl flavor people.

I have the Tilemahos V2 from FT but I am a MTLer. It gives a nice airy MTL but I am not sure that it would be good for DTL. I have had it for a month on an XVOstick and it is one of my favorites. Easy to coil and wick (same as a KS or a Hurricane). It has a juice control that works great and you can refill it without even thinking of it leaking. Great tank. If you want single coil, you should also take a look at the Bachelor. Everything that I have read on it seems to be positive. Have one on order but have not tried it personally. I use the Cthulhu V2 with the single coil adaptor and am happy with it. I use a Bellus clone in single coil mode and it works well too. I have a Kronos as well. It is a little weird to wick (similar to a Taifun GS) but once you get it set up, it has very good flavor and would be fine for a restricted DL. Got all of them from FT.

Im not a fan of the postless rose-like design they put into the bachelor, I had way too many issues with my roses.
The Taifun mesh feed liquid stuff is also not what Im after, If the tilemahos works well I just stick with that and my billows.

I have always love GG designs. Not the easiest to work with or maintain by far, but he has basically pioneered several concepts we use today in many tanks. The Tilemahos is an excellent working tank for MTLers or those who like a restricted lung hit. There's really no way to change the airflow characteristics either. Regardless, it has excellent flavor. As others have noted, it is similar to the Taifun GT, the KS and the Hurricane; its build deck is best suited to coils from 2 to 3mm in diameter.

My Tilemahos is in my carry-around vape box, loaded and ready to go. I should vape it more; even after laying and rolling around for over a week, it still sits there, not leaking a drop. Enjoy it; you probably won't find too much to compete with it. My next desire is the one with the build deck called the Springomizer. It's a Tilemahos with no posts or screws.

I just had to sign up and reply to this post, to save you from the experience I have had.

In my opinion, do not get an authentix tilemahos. I have both the ft tilemahos v2 plus and an authentic 21mm tilemahos v2. The clone from ft is better made.

The problems I have had with the authentic are:
1) the internal chamber wall has cut outs for the wick. These cut out are extremely sharp and I cut my fingers on it al the time.

2) this thing supposedly has an adjustable 510 pin. However, if I adjust it outwards my resistance jumps all over the place because it is not making proper contact via the threads. This is particularly annoying in TC mode, which doesn't work. If I crank the 510 pin fully down then it no longer protrudes from the end! This means it will not fire at all on most of my mods. The problem is that there is a plastic washer which is too short. I can fix this by switching it with the one in my clone.

3) finally, this thing came to me with nothing extra. No spares, not even orings. Only one plastic tank. For the best part of 100euro including shipping that is disgusting.

The clone had none of these problems. They are mostly quality control issues with the authentic, and I got a lemon. So, save your money and don't get one.

There are tonnes of awesome MTL devices out there if you want to drop money on an authentic (or try out a clone). For a similar price to an authentic GG, and from a similar part of the world, I would look instead at the spheroid v4 or Heron v2 by GP. Brilliant mtl devices.

Others I rate for mtl:
Ubertoot
Hurricane
pico (with rebuilt CLR coils)
calix v2

And if you can wick a genny:
Origen v2 mkii
Nextiny

In short, there is loads of mtl stuff that is inventive and coming out all the time. Vapingunderground is quite cloudchaser-centric, so you can miss the newer mtl stuff. The tanks above are incredible for flavour, clone or authentic. My favs are the gennys but they are just a different taste, not better if you get what I mean.

They need a section for MTLers. I find that I don't come here very often because everything seems to be 200W and clouds, clouds, clouds. I use 1-1.2ohm and 15-18watts. Not much here for that range!!!

I have 2 different clones coming, I will not buy the authentic unless they are really good tho.
I tried a origen mk2 clone but it just wasnt wicking right with the fill screw closed and it was drinking the juice like a maniac.
Ubertoot and Hurricane are on the list. The pico looks really weird.
