Hey all!

So I have a simple question that has a not so simple answer.
What should my next setup be???
Great question right?
Wait wait wait...
Let me back up a bit.

I started vaping about 2 years ago give or take. My first setup was an ego style variable voltage. (Kangertech protank 2 mini [or nano. Not sure] with a vv smok battery to be specific) about 2 months ago the battery went bad on me. I went back to the local b&m store to replace the battery. Unfortunately they did not have the vv version available. I regretfully bought that battery and used it for two days before I brought it back because it was weak.

That brings us to where I am now. When I returned the battery I purchased a Subvod by Kangertech.

I love the device! It is leaps and bounds better than my original device. I don't want to upgrade yet but I think I will be within 6 months.

So to make a long thread longer, what do you think my next step is to "upgrading" my device or getting a 2nd more advanced unit?

Let's start with a box mod. I have been looking all around and the next logical step is a box mod. But it doesn't seem that simple. All the sudden there is temperature control variable voltage and wattage control not to mention the style.

Next we have the atomizer or tank or both or an RDA or RBA or TNA. There are drippers there are stainless steel coils etc.

As you probably already know there are virtually endless options out there.

Can Someone point me in the right direction as to figuring out the evolution of vaping so to speak? The pros and cons of "upgrading" or changing my device?

I apologize in advance for such a long thread but I wanted to get the question out there. Any advice you have and what I could possibly do next will be greatly appreciated. I have some time before I plan on upgrading.

Everyone has their own preferences, personally I have a little bit of everything, but mostly bottom fed mods and atomizers. The best of dripping (flavor) without dripping. Additionally, I have several 200 watt mods and various RTA's, but seldom vape above 40-50 watts, the longevity of the batteries is what I'm after.

Not knowing what your financial situation is....try out what you can afford, if you don't like it you can always sell items right here.

Good luck in your journey...!

Take a good look at a Kanger Topbox kit. The big one goes up to 75 watts, which is plenty for most people, and it's removable battery. It comes with a decent tank; one which has a lot of coils available so you can mess around with it to see where you want your vape to go, and then buy a tank optimized for that regimen.

Hey guys,
Thank you for the input.

Correct me if i am wrong: But if i want to explore "all aspects" or different ways to vape, i should start with a battery or MOD.
This seems to be the one factor that could be the constant.

Not knowing much about mods, but if i get one that has all of the bells and whistles, i should be set. As long as i dont break it i can try virtually all the different types of vaping...RIght???
I could subohm, temp control, RDA (Not sure what that is), drip, build coils, etc etc...
Am i correct on saying that?
