While we’ve had several movies at this point based on Disneyland/Disney park attractions -- Never forget The Country Bears, with Christopher Walken! -- Tomorrowland is something different. Yes, it shares its name with one of the main areas at Disneyland, but it really is only tangentially related to and inspired by what you’ll find there, with a few interesting visual and dialogue links that will amuse my fellow Disneyland fans.
Britt Robertson (Under the Dome, The Secret Circle) stars as Casey Newton, a teenage girl with aspirations of going to space one day. Arrested after causing trouble at a soon-to-close NASA space center (where her father is about to lose his job), Casey is confused to find a pin with the letter "T" on it among her belongings – which appears to instantly transport her to a futuristic world when she touches it.
