Tornado problem help please!

Hey everyone! I got a tornado rdta yesterday and I'm having an issue with it. I got some twisted 26 gauge 316l coils in it and the grub screws are tight. I've checked 3 times! When I attach it to my rx it says .15 after I hit it a couple times it says .17 then hit a few more times then it says .20 then .22 then it won't fire. It says atomizer short. Then I unscrew it then reattach it and then it goes to .15 and repeats the same thing. I checked all my other rdas and tanks and it's fine. Put the tornado back on and the same thing happens! What the hell could it be? The coils aren't touching the chamber or anything!

My guess is it's the nature of SS It does show some variance as it heats, which is why it can be used in tc. What you're seeing is normal except for the atomizer short message. Are you sure your coils aren't touching a post or the chamber walls? How about the top of the chamber?

What Roxy says and I've noticed with my newer TC mods that if the cotton is not saturated enough (hitting pretty dry cotton) that I get the same message.......if I let a tank sit awhile OR close the air holes and without firing, do a few hard draws and then rescrew the RTA back on the message goes away and everything's hunky dory.........of course I do check the grub screws sometimes as they can get loose, but the dry cotton issue will do it also, guess their too cheap to program an error message for dry cotton as that too would require a few more internals......

Make sure your wicking is combed, not packed too tightly and insure that your juice control is fully open and cotton saturated well before firing it up hard.

I'm guessing TC mode....any of my tanks do that if the cotton is not wicking or its too dry. If I fire them in Wattage mode without doing anything you don't get the short message (if the coils are touching the chamber walls you will get the short message even in watts)....seems that only comes into play in TC mode. Guess it's the poor boy way of insuring no burned cotton in TC, just no fancy message.
