Here is the results from after my walk, it was cold out so the hands wont show as much swelling as my leg shows, nice 1st degree burns in almost a perfect circle on both webs between thumb and forefinger....On the left pic toward the bottom of my pointer finger you can see how its white, thats a blister starting and the red line (didnt capture well) goes from there to the webbing...
The Right pic has slight burns on my webbing and sideways across the top of my pointer finger..
The juice spilled out of the Velocity and hit my jeans and soaked through I didnt even notice because of the burning on my hands....now the leg hurts much more then the hands...
The Velocity and SMPL is completely intact except the Drip Tip melted in half, It didnt even burn the cotton! I found what happened to it later, my battery had a torn piece of wrap near the topside and must have touched the tube and caused a hard short....I have wraps on the way (I ordered them a week ago) but they are still not here....I will be much more cautious about the wraps from now on.
I dont know if this has deterred you from the trade, I will end up replacing the drip tip in the velocity (I dont have the 510 adapter) so either way its cool. It just wasnt the best type of day yesterday and that was the last thing I needed, I took a walk, a shower, bandaged everything up and went to bed....
I am glad it was a 25R inside or it may have been much much worse and I had to explain to the woman it was something I did wrong and she shouldnt have to worry about the house burning down and such and such....
