Triton 2 Burnt Taste

Hey guys,

Im new to the vaping world and started by picking up an aspire starter kit which includes the pegasus mod and triton 2 tank. Let me start by saying flavor from the Triton 2 tank has been outstanding. I purchased a Crown Uwell tank as well due to many awesome reviews and I have to say flavor wise the Trition kills it. Anyways, long story short, I have been getting a burnt taste from the Triton tank. It tastes fine for the first few seconds but any extended pull results in a very burnt taste and a burning sensation in the back of my throat. I tried another coil as well and follow all the proper break in steps but just cant seem to get rid of this burnt taste. Anyone have similar problems or any insight on how to fix it? Yes I have tried multiple coils and broke them in properly and yes I have cleaned the tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would these happen to be the coils that came with the tank? If not, has it occurred with coils from the same pack? I've had two tanks that came with bad coils. It's also entirely feasible that you got some bad coils out of a 5 pack. I've been using the new triton coils lately (.4 and .5 Clapton) and they have been great.

It was the original Clapton coil that came with the kit and also some from a 5 pack. I went and bought another 5 pack today so I'll see how that goes. Also when using Clapton coils I am given the option of Ka Ni or Ti. I have been selecting Ka as coil type. Would this have anything to do with it? Thanks for your help.

I'm still getting the same results with the new coils. Really wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I really want to like the Uwell Crown tank but the flavor pales in comparison to the Triton 2. Anyone have any other suggestions? I've once again cleaned the tank and replaced the atomizer, still getting the burnt taste/burning sensation in my throat. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
