The problem is taking imaginary trophies, putting them into an imaginary box, attaching imaginary postage and trying to ship them VIA USPS and as we all know they have no imagination!
Not true! The postbeast that delivered my ripped-to-shreds box of VG from Essential Depot told me my contents had "acquired some ventilation" in transit...it had to take imagination to come to that conclusion.

That's bullshit dude...me sorry, I am sad to hear this...I could look for it if you'd like but I am in the dog house with my own post office. When I moved last year my paypal glitched to the point I had to delete my entire account and start over because it kept showing me the right address and then transmitting the wrong one....I called my post office and they said they had my package and I told them to hold it and I would be in to pick it up after work...So I go in and they tell me they put it on the truck back to california so I ripped the supervisor an new one...They know me, they know my order, I have to make sure anything I order fits in my mailbox or I might not get it. I am sorry for your loss and feel your pain.
Oh, I went through a massive battle with USPS and took everyone possible to task for it - on the upside BCV actually came through in a huge way and won themselves a customer for life with their response, even eating the cost of the order while the second round of appeals were going through - never heard whether they won, my fear is that the post either kept denying the claim or they just realized they were spending more man hours collecting on the package insurance than it was worth. That's awesome how they went to bat for you and took care of you regardless of USPS's fuckup...they've just won another customer out of me (if I ever run out of supplies again, flavoring's got a pretty good shelf life and my freezer's full of everything
) but it's good to know they're there when I need them and I am all about supporting a business that I know would support me. They're now at the top of my "recommend" list Thank's for sharing that with me....really feel shitty that it happened to you but at least their is some sort of small silver lining out of this. They will definitely get business for the word of mouth of this I am sure and you got taken care off, even though it took awhile, for sure which is a bonus and awesome!

Novels could be written about USPS blunders but what @OBDave endured would surely rank at the top because it wasn't just one lost shipment but 2 replacement orders went missing in the meantime! Despite all that he spent hours with USPS and us trying to track things down and working through the claim and appeals, you sir, went above and beyond and I am sincerely grateful!
