Trying to build 1 ohm.

Im new to making my own coils. currently have 26 gauge kanthal, I also have a 2 mm screw driver, a 2.4, and a 3. If I'm doing macro coils how many wraps around which screwdriver should I do to get 1 ohm? I keep getting anywhere between .7 and a high .8. (This is for a kayfun.)

If you are using the 2mm Id go and try 5 or 6 wraps and check it. If you want a smaller diameter coil go with something around a 1 ml rod to wrap on. Then using 26g Id start with 5 wraps or 6.. test on ohm tester.

Nope, I'm meaning 1ohm, I'm wanting a higher build for less vapor, as that's the tank I take to work. I'll try 5 wraps later tonight, thank you!

your gonna need around 8-9 wraps of 26ga kanthal around a 2mm screwdriver. what are you building on?

Pauly is right if you are wanting 1 ohm. 8-9 wraps on a 2mm whatever rod or screwdriver. I was thinking something less than 1 ohm..

just add more wraps if you don't have room for more wraps . increase the diameter of the wraps ...find something to wrap around that's bigger or go out and buy some 28 gauge.
