Trying to decide on a new box mod..

So I am in the market for a new box mod.. I have experience in unreg and reg so there isn't really a preference issue.. I just don't know what I want if that makes any sense lol


The box mods I have are as following
  • Sigeli 150w
  • Tuglyfe Unregulated box w/ matching Tugboat ( Awesome box btw )
Price range is anything under $150 if possible

side note** I really only want a two 18650 device and no series :(

It's a great chip, especially if you like TC. There are quite a few great choices within your budget.

G2, or a rx200s.
Both way under 150 and even with the extras on the 200s still below 150.

Reading your post, are you sure you want something that is not series? As your Sigelei 150W is series, so I wouldn't worry if it is regulated you want and in series. I may of misunderstood though, and it is just for the mechanical side, if so I understand not wanting a series device if it doesn't fit your needs.

There are parallel regulated mods, such as the Istick 100, that can run on either single, or dual 18650's though if you are set on something that is not series.

I know what you mean by being unsure on what you want lol, there are so many good mods around now it is hard to choose!

I do have a DNA200 converted to run with dual 18650's at a maximum of 133W. I see these have been recommended, and really are fantastic boards. I do feel they really shine at TC though, so if you don't want to use TC, or tweak things with Escribe, you may be able to get a cheaper alternative. But due to how good they are, I also do recommend one.
Even if you do not want to use TC now, you can in the future, and still will have a fantastic mod.

I don't know as much about Mech mods as regulated devices though, so can't really offer much advice there.

The only mods I have zero problems with are SXmini and anything with a DNA chip. Don't have a G2 but I hear nothing but good things about them.

After using the Slice for a few days, I am nothing but impressed. I didn't have good luck with the reliability of the DNA chips so I tried the FSK. Damn it's good. Can't see paying 50 percent more for a mod just to use some software and still not get a better vape. My G2 will be here tomorrow. It's not pretty or ergonomic but the mod quality and the chip make it 'best value'.

I would suggest either a dna133 mod, persobally im a fan of the vaporshark mods. Or for a mess expensive option, the joyetech evic mini dual. It van be found around 40-45$ and can run 1 battery or two. It has the same board as the rx200 and is a great little reliable workhorse.

Hohmtech G2 you will be pleasantly surprised if you take the time to get to know this board, Fires anything, TC's anything, built like a brick shit house.
