I have a tugboat dual 18650 mech. It seems to take a while to fire also when I go to charge the batteries. 1battert charges to full in like five min but the other takes the normal time. Using peerless rda with a .25 ohm build. Any thoughts please help

What voltage is each battery coming out of the mod at? As it is taking a long time to fire, and with the charging issue, it sounds as if one battery is not making connection how it should be causing one to drain a lot faster than the other, or something else is causing the batteries to discharge unevenly.

Either that, or a battery is bad.

Check all the connections are making good contact. When I use dual 18650 mech mods I always write down which side of the mod each battery come from, so next time I can switch sides.
I do this as I find with some mods one battery does drain slightly faster on one side, so switch them around to try and keep a fairly even balance over the life of the batteries.

I have a tugboat mod and it's extremely amazing...
except the goddamn 510

(if you screw in the atomizer slightly tight, it will back out the whole 510 when you unscrew the atty.. and you need to use your fingers to get the hex nut tighten and the 510 seated flush... it's mostly a problem with shitty glue from factory on my 510... super glued it myself and that problem is gone..)

My mod has a really clean interior... the wires are soldered on nicely and everything is sealed up seamlessly

The mod hits hard.... so it's either the batteries are bad.. or your charger isn't actually charging them to their max nominal voltage of 3.7v (+/- 1v)

Both my batteries are fully charged in roughly the same time as eachother... using married LGHE4's and the difference between them would be 4 minutes at most

Love this mod but it takes some DIY on the 510 to prevent some issues there..
Would love to see a modder add a voltmeter and a potentiometer to it...
It's a shame it doesnt have voltage regulation.... would've made a great hexohm alternative
