IMHO, I happen to have both of them and I think the squared version is a much improvement. It gives better flavor and vapor, somehow. Don't get me wrong though, the original version is one good rda.
You wouldn't think just by changing the 3 connected holes each side from round to square can change an atty that much, but it does.
Oh, and I've tried interchanging the chuff caps and drip tips with the verdict still came out the same, the squared won.
But, if you can get the original one for 35, I'd go for it.
