I twisted 2 strands of 22g ni80 and did a 6 wrap around 3 mm and with dual coil my ohm reader said to low so i tried an 8 wrap and still to low how many wraps should i do to be able to use dual coils on my goon on the rx 200s?

22 Gauge Nichrome 80 has a pretty low resistance as-is, twisting it is just going to decrease it. Either build bigger coils (bigger diameter / more wraps) with the twisted wire, switch to lower purity Nichrome wire or don't twist the wire.

But one 22 gauge twisted Ni80 coil shouldn't be low enough to cap out the lower end of the resistance limits on the RX, so make sure everything is connected properly. I think with the new firmware it goes down to fucking 0.06 or something ridiculous.

You also could try regular resistance wire like kanthal.

I uses 22 gauge N80 and no offense but that's a retarded build. For twisted, you would need like 13 wraps to be in the safe-ish Zone

'Retarded' depends on the device and atomizer combo he's using. If he's using a 3-4 battery mod with an atomizer that has tons of airflow, there's nothing unsafe or 'retarded' about that build.

What he has is a .05 build. Don't even think a DNA fires that low

It'll fire just fine, safe and dandy on a quad parallel mod.

Though yeah, as a general rule, don't twist 22 Ni80 and expect it to come out as anything but damned near non-resistance.

All my favorite mods are either unregulated high power (parallel series, quad series, triple series, 2/3/4S lipos, etc.) or bare bones regulation (2-4S PWM mods and such) so I have no issues firing shit that's an ungodly low resistance.

You may want to learn about battery sag, voltage drop and battery safety as well. Just because I can throw a .06 build on a quad parallel box and vape away doesn't mean you should try the same thing on a dual battery mod. Learn about the benefits of parallel and series circuits and build according to what type of mod you have. Parallel setups can go pretty low depending on how many cells are in the circuit, series can throw out tons of power and parallel series is the best of both worlds. Lipos are an option as well, some I own handle over 350A continuous without breaking a sweat.

But as it sits, I would advise sticking to regular 22 gauge kanthal for twisting.

the goon has good air flow and the rx i have uses three 18650's

A triple series circuit with a buck only board that bucks the voltage down and can output more amps than it's drawing..

Yeah, definitely safe. The only issue is the board not reading that low.
