I am using a Istick Pico with a super mini tank. The tank is about two weeks old and I am using the .5 coil. Not the one that came with it but ones I bought for the super tank. Everyone is saying that they are vaping between 40 - 50 w with these and the flavor and clouds are great. I can get the clouds but flavor is not there that high. Am I doing something wrong or does this fall under personal preference / mode I am in. Second part to the question is I have read that the Triton 0.5 Clamptons work the best in this tank. Does anyone know if that is true. I want to order some SS coils so I can switch to TC so if there is a difference I will order some. Thanks for your help.

I have not used your tank but maybe try playing with the air flow. Usually but not always on the same coil the more air flow you have the bigger the clouds but less flavor. Less air flow might give better flavor

I have been messing around with the air flow also. I know I loose some of the flavor because I vape max VG. Is it possible since I just quit smoking in October my taste buds just haven't recovered enough. If they ever do.

I'm with the OP on this. I am always reading reviews where people are vaping at 40, 50 and higher and getting great clouds and flavor. I can't seem to get there. With a .5 or .4 coil I am vaping at 25-30 max. But you know what? I'm ok with that. I get the flavor and clouds I want. I am more worried about flavor than clouds anyway. I am enjoying what I'm vaping and that's all that matters.

It all comes down to satisfaction ......
Comparing a big cloud vs small is easy. It's also easy to achieve.

Flavor on the other hand is pure personal preference and taste. For me.... high power and high PG gives the most flavor. Low power gives better and more detailed flavor.

There is a RBA head avaliable for those coil heads. You might consider that..... the factory heads are pretty easy to build also.

With SS premade coils I find that no matter were I set the preheat they still take a while to heat up in TC mode. I don't have that issue with coils I make and I vape TC most of the time. The Triton Clapton's are a good coil but If you can find the Aspire EVO Clapton coils I recommend them for both flavor and cloud. Ether the 0.4 or 0.5 work well. There for power mode only.

30-35w for me with the Super Tank Mini and 0.5ohm coils. The Triton coils work great and are easier to find than Tobeco coils. I have used a couple of the Claptons and they were good, but nothing to get excited about IME.

4-5V is what I vape my .5Ω coils at(and everything else)...and 40W is the max I push to those coils, not the starting point.I'd start at 30W and work your way up to where you are getting better flavor
