Ubisoft Motion Pictures CEO Jean-Julien Baronnet recently said the big screen adaptation of their Assassin's Creed game franchise will not be unlike two very specific and beloved genre movies.
According to the French magazine Premiere (rough English translation via /Film), Baronnet said, "
accepted very quickly. And it was the only actor which we thought was obvious. So we started with the actor, which is incongruous. Even more incongruous, he engaged us with nothing. There was no script, no studio or anything.
