After all the years of delays and false starts, it's hard to believe the Uncharted movie is finally out in the world. But if you need more proof this chronically troubled adaptation actually exists, we now have our first action figure based on Tom Holland's Nathan Drake.
IGN can exclusively reveal Diamond Select Toys' Uncharted: Deluxe Nathan Drake figure, which features Holland's likeness and several movie-inspired accessories. Get a closer look at the figure in the slideshow gallery below:
This Nathan Drake figure features 16 points of articulation and measures 7 inches tall. The figure was designed by Yuri Timg and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios. The figure is priced at $24.99 and is expected to hit stores in Fall 2022.
Diamond Select will be putting the Nathan Drake figure up for preorder beginning on Friday, February 18, which conveniently happens to be the same day the Uncharted movie releases in the US. You'll be able to preorder the figure through Diamond Select's website and various other retailers.
IGN's Jeffrey Vega gave the Uncharted movie a 7 in his review, writing, "Uncharted is a safe but serviceable sampling of a new globe-spanning adventure. As a young Nathan Drake, Tom Holland is fun to watch and has good chemistry with Mark Wahlberg’s Victor Sullivan, even if their antagonists are pretty forgettable and the story never thinks outside the treasure chest box. This should be effective in introducing the world of Uncharted to people who are meeting Nate and friends for the first time, although the changes it makes can be inexplicable and jarring to those of us who’ve spent many games with these characters."
