i recently purchased a box of 0.25 SS uwell crown tank coils and i can honestly say im disappointed. im currently on the third coil of the set of 4, the first coil lasted 2 days( 2 tanks), the second coil lasted 4 days ( 4 tanks ) and the third coil lasted 3 days ( only 2-3 tanks). i am 100 percent sure that ive broken in the coils properly as well as primed them correctly ( as described by a note worthy you tube video as suggested by another thread as well as many other popular you tube channels). the juice im using is a 80/20 blend, namely cinema by clouds of icarus as well as another 80/20 blend. from what i, hearing these coils are suppose to last weeks and i feel dissapointed in not getting that ( wattage range is from 50-65 watts). i honestly have no idea what else to do so any help would be much appreciated

I vape 3-4 tanks a day on my Crown with .25 coils. Once I learned to prime them properly (it took me a couple of weeks), I went from 2-3 days per coil to about 7-8 now. I attribute this to the sweetened, thick (80/20) juices I prefer. Remember when priming, start low on a new coil (about 25 watts) & work your way up in 5 watt increments, taking short, hard pulls. Also make sure you take some dry pulls (without firing) initially, with the AFC closed.
I could see getting maybe two weeks out of them if I compromised on my juice selections, but that's not going to happen.

thanks for the input, ive done exactly that, i start off by priming the coils insuring that once the juice holes become saturated i only then screw the top section of the tank on and fill it. i then leave it for about 20 minutes to further saturate. i start off at 30 watts first doing a couple prime pulls with no power, and like you said to short mouth pulls, going up in increments of 5 watts and then end up at about 55 watts. however the life of the coils still havent improved

Never heard of that liquid. However, browsing their website, all of their juices seem to be extremely sweet, which explains why your coils are gunking up pretty fast. Dark and sweet juices have this tendency.

Should it be doing that only after one tank of juice because as of what you said, that what seems to be happening?

I used to by a sweet & dark Vanilla eJuice that gunked up coils pretty quick. That was in the days when I used Protanks (with much less capacity) and 1.2 Ohm coils. With other liquids, utilizing the same coil, the coils lasted 5-7 days, with the vanilla, it was 2-3 days.

You might want to consider getting a RTA, where you can remove the deck (even with a full tank),remove the wick(s), give it a dry burn to clean the coils, rewick, and vape on.

The only other thing I could recommend is I also poke a small hole in the cotton on each juice hole with a safety pin to allow better wicking, as the cotton in Crown coils is extremely tight.
And yes, the sweeter the juice, the faster they will gunk, but a day or two isn't right.

I don't think, it has anything to do with wicking. I'm using DIY 90VG/10PG, some even higher VG, without any problems.

I just thought if it wasn't wicking properly you may have some burnt cotton. Just passing along what works for me on my Crown.
Don't worry about it then.
