Uwell Crown Issues

I am just copying and pasting what I sent to uwell crown support, but its been 3 days and they have never replied back....

Just have a concern. I bought a Uwell Crown, 4 replacement coils and an RBA kit off subtanksupply

My issue is everything was working fine and I was loving it but when i was trying to unscrew the bottom piece (to change the coilhead) I accidentally unscrewed the 2 pieces that held the glass together (i still had juice in the tank but I was holding it upside down). After that the crown started performing differently and I mean different...I started tasting something weird that left an awful after taste in my mouth. I tried taking it apart to see if the O-rings were still in good shape but I could not take the tank off....I used pliers and I accidentally cracked the glass so I just smashed it apart so I can unscrew the 2 pieces that held that glass, it was on so tight even when the glass was off I had a hard time taking it apart. I am wondering, could it have been the o-ring heating up and causing it to "glue" together? Because the tank would get REALLY hot which was not normal when I was vaping it prior to that incident and I fear that I am inhaling harmful chemicals (the rubber oring melting?). The base was warm but the tank/glass itself was really hot.

After that incident I cleaned all the pieces in warm water and replaced ALL of the o-rings I could possibly replace and popped the replacement glass on. I made sure not to overtighten it. I used a new coil from the 4 piece coil replacement and top filled it. Vaped it and it had the SAME taste :(. I tried to take it apart again but the piece is stuck together again and I'm afraid to do anything else as I don't have a replacement glass readily because I live in Vancouver BC and Uwell's not in our shelves as of yet. I noticed that the coilheads from the 4 pieces all had pieces of metal sticking out near the O-ring at the bottom, it could have been a bad batch. I can take pictures. The coil heads that came with the tank are perfectly fine and dont have that excess metal sticking out.

I am trying to do everything at this point, so to eliminate if it was a bad batch or not, I put on a coilhead that came with the tank (and I knew this was a perfectly good coilhead that worked before the incident of me accidentally loosening the 2 pieces that held the tank, which started ALL of this mess!!!!!!) and I was getting the same issue. I don't know what to do now because I don't have a vape to use, I really don't want to continue vaping on it until I get further feedback as I don't know if I might be inhaling something I don't want to be. I have it on a Sigelei 100W and I tried taking the whole tank off the box but I can't.

im 80% sure it has to do something more than just the initial taste of a new coil because i have been vaping with the tank for a week and a half now with no problems and the taste now after the incident of me accidentally loosening the two pieces that hold in the glass. taste is just horrible almost like rubber platic after taste

Just updating my situation and I was wondering if you maybe have tips for me ? I am trying EVERYTHING Google is throwing at me. I just got a evic vtc mini for my tank so I threw in the Ni200 coil that CAME with the tank, the coils that came with the tank were good and I had no problems with it, but the Ni200 (in temp mode of course) has the same problem with the other coils. I notice that my initial vape I taste the juice (not as much as before) but I taste it. Vaping it a few more times and allowing the coils to get warm is when I start getting a "weird" taste.

I also noticed that when I blow out, instead of suck in. Only 1 of the airflow holes is making significant vapor. The other hole comes out with WEAK vapor, I also tried it with the mod upright and not on an angle.
Uwell Crown was such a good experience until that incident happened and I hope to get it back working the way it was before because it truly was a great tank..

Any help would surely be appreciated

Thanks.

I wish I could help, is there any way you can take close up pictures of everything? I recently (last week) got my first Crown Tank and have no issues getting anything apart to clean and no bad flavors.
