I'm usually not a fan of gold, but that actually looks pretty rockin'. Esp. the LE one with the black AFC ring. Imagine that on a black mod, eh? 
But I'm probably gonna pass. By the time they send me a replacement deck for my Crius I'll be up to... *cough* five freakin' tanks... And I only just started vaping... a month-and-a-half ago?!?!
It seems highly unlikely that's plating. A gold wash? That probably wouldn't hold up. Anodizing? Can you anodize SS to a gold tone?

I assume electroplated, which as I understand, needs a copper/nickel substrate so there may be a health concern with the copper. But I'm just guessing.

The Red is actually just the Herakles. I think it's a gold electroplated color but I could be wrong, I know to make the black air rings, they actually burn the metal to get it to that color.
Uwell doesn't quite skimp when it comes to the coloration of their devices to ensure that they're safer to use, especially when knicked or anything like that.

since you are a uwell distributor, have they done or are they doing anything to improve QC of the coils themselves. Im tired of buyng a box of 4 and 2 tasting nasty for a tank 1 tasting so bad I cant vape it at all and 1 that is fine

Definitely want to let you know each coil is hand made though, not actually machined. It's pretty difficult when you have a factory assembly line of workers, but I understand we all have high expectations when we're forking up money for these products.
well the problem is a bad taste form the coils when you first use them, that may or may not go away. SO its either cleaning the materials before assembly and keeping them clean, or its something with the insulator. every coil has always fired perfectly and wicked perfectly. something is contaminating th ecoil making it taste horrible when you first use it on SOME COILS but other coils are perfect from the first hit

I love my crown to. I had a little mishap with my mod nose diving off my car while doing a tune up and broke the drip tip off my super tank mini never the less i pulled my crown off my smok xcube 2 and went right to work. Thinking on getting another one in black for my vt200

Premium Vape Supply.. you are wrong on the black color.. we are an east coast distributor... uwell uses a organic PVD coating on its black and rose gold color process. the tank is not "heated" or burned to achieve the color.
