The Uwell Crown Subohm Tank is a contender for the top tank of 2015. The vaping community has rated it as comparable to the Smok TFV4 tank. The Uwell Crown differed in that it holds 4ml of juice, and uses SUS304 stainless steel in components such as the RBA base. SUS316 stainless steel is used for coil wire, along with imported Japanese organic cotton for the wick. Heads are notable different as well, with TFV4 heads being far larger.
The Crown is top-fill, like the TFV4, and the coils can put up with high wattage and chain vaping. Included with the tank is three dual coil heads. Three coils are included, a 0.25 ohm head rated up to 120 watts of power, a 0.5 ohm dual coil that is rated up to 80 watts, and a 0.15 ohm Ni200 head that is pre-installed.
The fit and finish on the atomizer are great, with minimally threaded parts to made dis-assembly a breeze. Threads are not so short that leaks can develop. The durable and adjustable ball-bearing airflow control on the tank offers a full, airy draw that parallels the TFV4. A measure of quality control is seen in everything from the tank to the coils, with coils coming 4 to a pack.
