Uwell crown v1 0.5 coil issue

Hey guys, I have a quick question about the crown v1. I picked one up today specifically because I've heard here that the coil issues they had have been resolved and the v1 got glowing reviews when it came out. I have a big baby beast and a cleito that use and love but I wanted a tank with a .5 coil that will last me a decent amount of time while giving great flavors. They tank came with the 0.25 coil inside already. I swaped it out for the 0.5 coil that came in the box. The 0.5 will NOT read properly. It reads at 1.6, 1.2, 0.8, and 0.6 and it even ready 0.00 at one point. I know 0.6 is probably where it will read normally but should I be concerned about the tank and an issue with the 510 or where the coil hits the pin under it? The 0.25 reads 0.29 and vapes great at 50-60 watts. I'm thinking I might take it back to the shop I got it from tomorrow and have them try another 0.5 coil to see if it's just the coil or the tank. What do you guys think? I've tried it on two mods (koopor mini 2 and the RX 2/3) and it's the same for the 0.5 coil on both.

I've had that happen to me, make sure the coil is tight in the base, and or fire it a couple of times, unscrew the tank and retighten, see how it fires. Have you tried it on another mod? Could be just a bad coil, does the .25 work properly.

The 0.25 works great and I tried the 0.5 on my koopor mini 2, RX 2/3, and evic vtc mini, same issue. The 0.25 reads 0.29 on all of my mods and I've already broke it in and am LOVING the flavor. I got the tank to use the 0.5 and am a bit disappointed that my 0.5 isn't working right. I've had the base off and tried tightening and loosening the coil to no avail. I am just worried that the issue lies in the positive pin or the tank base itself and no matter what coils I get as replacements, I'll have hit or miss connection issues

Well, if the .25 works I doubt the 510 or the base are bad, most likely a short or bad lead in the coil, it happens, I use both weekly with success. You might try when you have the coil out, use a small screwdriver and in the base push the center pin up from the bottom gently and then retry.
